Random-but-helpful "stuff" « Thread Started on May 11, 2007, 2:19pm »
I can't even remeber where or why I was looking (or what I was really looking for) when I found these sites, but some of them have the potential to be very useful rescourses. Thought I'd pass 'em on.
http://www.acronym-guide.com/ -- Acronym guide. I just found it interesting (it'd probably be more useful if I was in to writing stories set present day).

I ran across this earlier today, and thought about posting it in the randomness thread... But finally decided to post it here instead. After all, wouldn't it be helpful to know the *real* reason we writers often seem to have trouble writing in notebooks instead of on computers? It's not blank page syndrome, oh no... *g*
Books contain knowledge. Knowledge is power. Power corrupts. Corruption is a crime. Crime never pays. So... if I keep reading, I'm gonna go broke!

"Come back! I believe in you!" Heh, sure ya do, paper... At least pencils are better than those ball-point pens. I always (while attempting to over come the Block) end up fiddling around with pens, and getting more ink on myself/my clothes than on the paper--or inadvertently writing on my face. *headdesk*
